Janay DuBerry offers two transformative educational workshops designed to empower young people and equip educators with practical tools for meaningful change.
1. Black Child Development for Educators
A professional development workshop that explores the social, emotional, cultural, and developmental experiences of Black children. Through culturally responsive education, social-emotional learning (SEL), and hip-hop culture, educators gain strategies to better understand, connect with, and support Black students in creating inclusive learning environments.
2. WALK Into Your Purpose
An interactive youth empowerment workshop that combines hip-hop, storytelling, social-emotional learning (SEL), and lived experience. Participants explore identity, resilience, self-worth, and personal growth while learning how to transform adversity into motivation, discover their purpose, and build a vision for their future.
Two workshops. One mission: Empowering young people, strengthening educators, and creating brighter futures through education, culture, and personal transformation.
The Underground Project
The Underground Project is an educational workshop program designed for educators and students, focusing on self-identity, self-awareness, and social-emotional learning (SEL). The program integrates hip-hop culture with Harvard-informed educational practices to promote personal growth, empowerment, and meaningful learning experiences.
